Moisturizers - What do YOU use?

What type of moisturizer do u use for the daily upkeep of your hair. I've used suave conditioners and/or hair creme (olive) but i still feel as if i should be using something else which is specifically designed to moisturize your hair.
So...

ors olive oil lotion and carrot oil
daily usage
whole head
it's light
soft and moisturized
i also use profective healthy ends about every 3 days for the ends on my hair

I use my spray bottle mixture that contain jojoba oil, amla oil, suave strawberries and cream conditioner, sweet almond oil, and a little bit of Hot 6 oil and Kenra's moisturizing conditiner.

I use all kinds of moisturizers..

- leave ins (pantene, VO5, etc)
- oil moisturizers (neutrogena, pantene, pink oil)
- foam (l'oreal, neutrogena)
- oils

I use one or a mixture of the above daily in the am before putting my hair in a braid or a bun.
I spray or apply the moisturizer everywhere. Usually I wet my hair first with water or a spray leave in and then I apply the oil or the oil moisturizer.
I feel that my hair is always moisturized. Sometimes I overdo it with the oil moisturizers. I mean I literally soak my hair in that stuff sometimes and then make two braids. But at least my hair is never dry.

I use the water/evoo mix in my spray bottle
pantene light spray conditoner
hot 6 oil
olive oil

I do one of these daily. I usually spray with the water/evoo mix and then seal with hot 6 or evoo
or I spray the ends with pantene conditioner and seal with one of the oils. Normally I do my whole head with greater concentration on the ends.

Coconut Oil and Distilled Water.

I use them daily. After my co wash...and before I start the day. The coconut oil is very light...and leaves my hair very moisturized. I use it as an all over moisturizer.

[*]Where do you apply it (whole head, ends only, etc.)? I only use Humectress on the last 2" of hair, Butter & Oil to whole head

[*]How does it leave your hair feeling? Humectress makes my hair feel super moist and soft; the Butter and oil does too, but it has a more oiled (but not oily/greasy) feeling when compared to the Humectress.

I spray my hair with Infusium 23(original) leave-in spray mixed with EVOO and rosemary. I spray it a couple of times a day and then at night. (Whole head)

I use Sta Sof Fro or Dark&Lovely Citrus Braid Spray

Every other day, depending on what my hair needs

Whole head

Light

Moisturized and soft

Flyjump, you just gave me an idea... I may try your concoction this summer when I wet my hair more often... I have a whole bottle of Infusium 23 leave-in in my closet collecting dust. It would be nice to put it to good use!! What's the purpose of the rosemary, and where do you buy it? Thanks!!

I use other moisturizers on my roots as it gets closer to touch up time. I also use a bit of WGO on my wet hair after every shampoo.

I forgot, I use Phyto 9 too! All over, including ends. Super light and undetectable, but wonderfully moisturizing.

What do you use? I first spray Infusium 23 mixed with Wonder 8 oil and EVOO and I've been alternating moisturizers. I usually use them for a week at a time or until the next time I wash with shampoo, which is usually once a week. They are Protectiv Healthy Ends and Break Free, Jojoba Oil and Mango Butter, or Wonder Gro Shea Butter grease

How often do you use it? Everyday, twice a day

Where do you apply it (whole head, ends only, etc.)? I usually spray my whole end and it depends on the moisturizer whether I use it on my whole head or just my ends.

It is heavy or lite? I finally narrowed it down to these products. They all leave my hair very moist and soft. I think my hair acts better when it has a little variety. That's why I alternate moisturizers.

I use my own product line (I even have it in pretty bottles and jars with labels - but sorry ladies, it's not for sale

) I have a leave-in/moisturizing spray with tea water (green and another), glycerin, silk protein, spring water - I spray it on my hair right out of the shower. My mom uses it daily, seems to be really good. Right now I just keep my hair conrowed back and wear a net cap weave - I've gained about two inches since January.

But yeah, the spray used whenever my hair feels dry leaves it feeling soft and moisturized, but I am natural right now so I can take heavier products.

I use a few differnt kinds of moisturizers depending on my stockage (I have so much

), what my hair needs, how I feel, or what I'm doing to my hair.

My main style is the ponytail with a bun. In which case I'll use some type of glycerin spray (SSF or S-Curl) and Profectiv Break Free. These I use on wet hair. When I wear my hair down, I rely on what I put on my hair while it's wet to moisturize it. Usually a good leave in and some type of oil (Coconut or Indian Oil). If my hair needs a little sheen as I'll add some CD Hair Milk or HHB. I only do it once a day.

With my hair out:

What do you use? BB Castor Oil Moisturizer

How often do you use it? daily

Where do you apply it (whole head, ends only, etc.)? whole head

It is heavy or lite? very light and non greasy

How does it leave your hair feeling? very soft but not weighed down

With a bun/phony pony:

What do you use? Distilled water mixed with conditioner, leave in, oil, or any combination of these + a thick grease on ends (Currently using profectiv Healthy Ends) + Mango Butter to seal it all

How often do you use it? daily, sometimes twice

Where do you apply it (whole head, ends only, etc.)? whole head

It is heavy or lite? heavy with Mango Butter on it but I don't care because it's in a bun

How does it leave your hair feeling? extremely moisturized

I also use Profectiv Anti Breakage Shimmering Oil Sheen Spray and Silk Elements Glossing Polish on a daily basis. i also have a oil mixture (jojoba, aloe vera, carrot, olive, etc.) that i apply to my ends.

What do you use? WGO, Elasta QP Mango Butter

How often? Both on wet hair after my leave in and WGO in the morning and Mango Butter at night.

Where do you apply it? WGO: mostly on scalp and a little distributed throughout my hair. Mango Butter: Whole head

Heave or Light: I use A LOT of mango butter (to compensate for Surge usage) so it ends up being heavy..but by the time I get up in the morning it's really light

how does it leave your hair feeling: Mosturized, Soft, and Shiny. After almost a week of doing this, my hair is getting a little oily, so I'm going to use less.

What do you use? John Frieda Frizz Ease Relax Daily Replenisher and EVOO

How often do you use it? Everyday, when/before I wrap my hair

Where do you apply it (whole head, ends only, etc.)? I rub it on my hands and smooth it over my hair when wrapped.(I put EVOO directly on my ends)

It is heavy or lite? It's very light, thats what I love about it

How does it leave your hair feeling? SOFT! and no frizzies!

Lindy- I Rosemary is a suppose to be a stimulant and I read that it makes your hair darker (not why I use it though) and it smells good (to me at least). I bought my bottle at a health food store. GNC has it too. Yes, try it. I have been using this potion since January. I like it. Just a little of each will do the trick.

I use the CHI oil (by Farouk). I love it and it smells really good. It has silk proteins and is soooo smooth. I use it every morning and at night before I put on my scarf. Its very light and leaves the hair super smooth. I also used the Neutregena Triple Moisture cream leave in after I washed and it was wonderful
