Poohbear\'s Updated Album!!!

Just wanted to let u guys know that I updated my album and have old dated and recent pics. I can't wait until my hair grows more past my shoulders. My goal for mid-2005 is for my hair to be as long as March 2004's Feature of the Month!

I like your hair too! It looks great!

I plan on stretching my touch-up for a relaxer from 4-6 weeks to 12 weeks. When I start getting new growth (or maybe even a few weeks from now) Im going to start wearing protective styles to protect my ends (bun with extra human hair or two french braids). I cant wait to have long hair.

Pooh,
from one big headed sister to another, looking good! I laughed when I read that Anyway, my hair was your length a few months ago and Ive gained a couple of inches in that time and its filled in some. Yours is filling in nicely too. Im putting up my pics from a year ago as soon as I get them put on disk, there is a huge differencw in length and thickness. just keep trucking it, you (we!) will get there!

I just saw your album and I wish my back/nape hair would grow or be longer than the rest of my hair...how did u get it to grow? nice hair

Everyone that sees me in person thinks I look younger than I really am (by the way I'm 20 years old

People always ask me what grade in highschool Im in and I have to say "Im a junior in college!"

Pooh, thanks for the compliment. My theory(although I havent been following it lately bc I am constantly in my hair these days) is LEAVING IT ALONE is the best thing you can do. I wore a ponytail piece for a year! I didnt do anything special or take any vitamins--but Im gonna add vitamins soon, I just let it do its thing. All I did was take it down every week, wash and condition, moisturize, and put it back up wet. the only downside is now for some reason my sides are thinner and the back is full, I think its from wearing a ponytail piece constantly for so long(high ponytail) that the major point of stress was at the ends of my sides. If I had it to do again I would have put it in a different position each week so it wouldnt have the same stress point all the time.
Now Im bored with the ponytail and am loving my own hair for once, but I dont know if thats good or bad bc Im manipulating it a lot...hmmm...

Hey Pooh,
thanks! If you saw the trim pic, she butchered me last time. I didn't really wear protective styles. I just was very gentle with it and kept with my regimen and stayed consistent with my biotin (3mg/day) and multi. I also kept the ends very, very moisturized. I wear my hair out a whole lot. And it just grew! That was about 6 weeks of growth since the trim.
