@LeslieC: You just need enough to coat your hair fully. I use 1/4 of can, sometimes 1/3. If you add a little conditioner it will help it absorb and stop it from dripping as much. It will drip though, so have a towel around your neck.

@Leslie: Sure! Give it another go, I think you'll be shocked by the slip. I use it as both a pretreatment and for deep conditioning. Slip factor will decrease if you poo though. I usually just CW.

Apretadora (Dominican pre-poo protein treatment... me likes!!)
Salerm WheatGerm Mask (nice and esp when you don't feel like the whole hot oil thing)
Avocado Oil (I think this is the oil for me, not too heavy and not too light. Gives nice sheen and softness. And non-scented UNlike that EVOO.)
Misses
Pure Shea Butter (I can't stand it, but I'm still using it to seal my ends. I bought way way too much to not find some use for it!)

It is slimy but after airdrying overnight it's fine. I don't like the oilyness/slimyness of it either though.
It makes my hair SUPER soft.
I'm texturized... but very texturized. I'm not one of those people who puts the relaxer in for 10 minutes, I leave it on for 30 minutes, but my hair is resistant. The result is softer hair that's very easy to straighten, and in it's "natural" curly state ot doesn't fro up, it lays down. Otherwise it looks the same.
Most of the time I do twistouts.

I used it to airdry yesterday and everything was nice and silky. I even flat iron this morning and it was even better. Im still tryin to perfect a rollerset but I will use it for that too.
