Bigen & Colourshines Clear is that too much?

Ladies, I currently color with Bigen Oriental Black. However, my hair has never had a natural sheen to it even before I started coloring. In order to keep from weighing my hair down with serums, oils & stuff, would it be o.k. to add the Sebastians Colourshines Clear Rinse on top of the Bigen. Or is that too many chemicals on my relaxed hair. If it is o.k., how long should I wait between the two processes? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

The Sebastian clear is a rinse. Since it has no harsh chemicals you can use it whenever you like (not too often though...build up).

The Bigen also has a less of the harsher chemicals that are used in most haircolorign products, so that plus Seb. shouldn't be a problem.

Good Luck.

i am curious about Bigens..it appears less harsher than regular coloring but is it really... and does the color look good?

As far as the Bigen Color, I have not had any problems using it. It has not dried my hair out and the main thing is the color does not run like some of the rinses tend to do. I like the color a lot, but I just wanted to add the extra sheen by putting the clear rinse on top.

I love using Bigen, it is like coloring your hair with mud LOL. There's no smell and it gives a nice natural color especially Oreintal Black
. If you are in the habit of taking care of your hair you can relax and color your hair with Begin on the same day.

However it has limited color choices because it doesn't use peroxide and therefore can't "lift" your hair color.

Once you try it you wont go back.

I would add some botanoil oil from nexxus. It is a very good oil and it is even written that it also for the coloring purpose, to add shine and lessen the chemical damage. it cost about 10 dollars and is really really good.

Donda, what exactly is botanoil oil? I've never heard of this one. Is it an oil that you add to the color, or a treatment you use after coloring?

Botonoil oil is an oil like six oil and it is from Nexxus. I guess you can also use any kind of good oil like jojoba or olive oil.
