I have to say thank you to all the members! Last year, I got a horrible perm that burnt my hair causing it to shed and break. Since I came across LHCF, I have been using products like amla oil, Vatika oil, shikakai, amla, henna, coconut oil, jamaican castor oil, protein hair creams. I've learned about things like oil pulling, oil washing, juicing, green smoothies, raw food diet, acv, and so much more.

I used to have long 'brastrap' hair... black, thick, and straight. Then I got a japanese ionic perm because I love curly hair. I got it done twice and it was great, but the third time, my ex-hairstylist decided to do a regular perm....MY HAIR DIED!!!but, what's done is done. I did the big chop last week after a year of using amla oil and ayurvedic powders to care for my hair. I now have shoulder length hair but it is so healthy and thick.
