the \"different oils\" im usin ....

well ive been havin my hair cornrowed for about 5-6 weeks and im about 9 weeks . ive been usin tha doo gro oil which contains almond,meadowfoam,seed oil shea butter vit.d,vit.e matricaria extract foldenseed hops extract henna extract,salflower oil lanolin wheat germ and i also bough this indian oil from indianplaza.com its called Kesavardhini oil for growin healthy long hair its a concentrated form but i mix them together in this squeze bottle it smells great and my hair is moisturized i think tha tha oils and tha vitamins and the protective stylin help alot. just sharin check out my album.1

what are sum oils that yall use? im curious to know i heard coc, oil was good.

Cocoanut oil is the bomb. I use it as well as EVOO. I've also used WGO and I got great results from all of them. CO is my favorite though.

Is use the Doo Gro too but hate that it has mineral oil, im also thinking about coconut oil. WGO I used to use but I really dont like the smell.

I looooove coconut oil!!! I use coconut oil, jojoba oil, honey and castor oil as a pre-shampoo treatment.

thank you tha indian oil i used smells so nice i was a little iffy about tryin it but it moisturizes well. ill try tha coconut it probaly smells great.

I purchased Kesavardhini oil as well and i mix it with coconut cream oil that i purchased from FNWL. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now, and i oil my scalp twice a week with it, (i have my hair in individual braids) and i do a scalp massage afterwards with my electric massager for 10 minutes. I purchased 4 bottles of the Kesavardhini oil, but i found another recipe for hair growth oil from another indian site that i will be using after i'm finish using all the Kesavardhini oil. I'm taking some extra measures in trying to achieve hair growth, i can't wait to take my braids down to see how much growth i have acquired.

I like Olive Oil, Soyabean Oil (vegetable oil), Peanut Oil, and my new found love Sesame Body Oil!!

I learned about it by accident when I left my ORS Olive Oil (it has Olive,Soy,Peanut Oil) when I went out of town. I usually use the Sesame Body Oil after a shower and thought why not, hair is skin you know
.

It works wonderful it gives the moisture of Food Oils but has a VERY soft light weight feel of a Oil Sheen Spray
.
Can you tell I like it! LOL
