How long does it take you to rollerset?

I seem to take forever, I have been trying to speed up and at least take a half hour. But I just move like a snail and it always takes me an hour or a couple of minutes under an hour.

I use the mohawk method but still just can get those arms to move fast enough.

Honey the last time I tried it took 2 hours I had to keep spraying each section to keep it moist while i was rolling and then spray it dripping wet again after I finally got all those damn rollers in my hair! LOL----and Im gonna try it again tonight for Christmas. That means I need to wrap up all of the Christmas stuff and finish cooking, It will still take me 2 hours - maybe even more cause I bought smaller rollers. My hair refuse to lay down unless its drenched !!!!!:drunk:

The first time or two it took me an hour as well...Ive gotten it down to 40 minutes and my goal is 30 minutes flat. The mohawk part is easiest then it gets kind of hard to fit the others all in towards the back sides.

I love my ponytail rollersets when Im being lazy or short on time..it only takes 10 or 15 minutes. I do 6 ponytails and 1-2 rollers on each one. I can also dry those in 30 to 40 minutes usually. Then I take it down and fluff or do a silk wrap.

About 15-20 minutes. When you roller set often, you get really fast at it. I think when my hair gets longer (sl right now), it will take a little longer. But this is one of the many areas when practice makes perfect.

lol! you are too funny.

I am still sitting under the dryer. and when I roll the new growth must have super powers because it unwinds the rollers a bit. I guess because i'm trying to pull it straight but the new growth of course doesn't want to be straight lol!!!

i was thinking of doing the ponytail rollerset. Do I just use the scrunchy thing to hold the ponytails?
I'm trying to get to 30 minutes as well, but it just seems the best I can do with new growth is just under an hour for now. I'll see how it goes once I relax my hair.

It take me about 20-25 minutes. I think the longer you do it the quicker you will get. If you are a beginner, an hour is not unusual. It also depends on how much hair is on your head. People who have thicker hair tend to take longer.

I guess my practice still isn't making perfect lol!!!! I've been doing this for I don't know how long. I think when my hair is permed it will be way easier to do.

Takes me about 30 minutes but I will say, when using the rollers that don't come with clamps, it took about an hour :spinning: which is probably why I just use the kind that come with the plastic clip to go over the roller. This method is quicker and my set comes out much smoother.

I think this is me right here.

It takes me 45 min to rollerset my hair but when I did my SIL's it only took 20 min at the most. Her hair is not as thick as mine so I think that has something to do with it.

My goal is to do it in 30 min. :ohwell:

It takes me 30 min on a good day, 40 min on a bad day. I rollerset in front of my bedroom mirror, which has drastically decreased my time. Before, I used to rollerset in front of the TV or comp, and that took like an hour at least.

25-30 minutes. Doing it the Mohawk way makes things much faster...I use the snap on magnetics and mesh rollers with duckbill clips.
