I love your avatar pic. What style is that- is it Dee or something else. How often do you wear it?

Thank you..
I think it is the Dee... I got the 16" just to be dramatic, and i would curl it up with my caruso curlers...

I used to wear it everyday... but it was too 'luxurious' for the place I worked at the time.. lol
So I started wearing it out and about....
then I got tired after 4 or 5 months of trying to keep my own hair so straight in the front,
So I got a full head wig and called it a day.

I still have it, and I still love it.

No, I had never seen these before, but I sure was wondering when they would figure it out. I where a 3/4 and always where my hair going back but wanted a style where I could wear a different part of my hair out. I'm going to see if I can find them in my area rather than buy on line. You never know what you're getting with hair.

I think I'm going to try one. I tried falls/half wigs and only wore them while on vacation. They didn't quite look right for work. I really want something that is not that different from my own hair. I'd rather my co-workers not even notice that anything is different at all. And I would love to keep my hair braided for a while.

Thanks for the post. The one I'm looking at is out of stock in the color I want so I'll have to wait,

So, I ordered the right color Dee in 14" from especiallyyours.com. It was 59.00 and free shipping. I sent the other color back. I can't wait to wear it. The hair looks a little wavy textured but I pulled out my flat iron and straightened a little section in the back and it straightened and curled with out a problem. I will be rockin' mine tomorrow night.

How did you get it for $59? Is there a special code?

Oh okay. Which site was that? I went on Simi Weave's site and I must say, the inventor of the wig should come visit LHCF, lol. There's a video she has of herself showing how to put it on.

Got mine from especiallyyours.com. They are having a sale. I think they were higher on Simiweave's site. Their shipping is fast too. Ordered mine on Monday and it came on Thursday.

I went to the search bar and typed in "Dee". All of the lengths and parts came up. I think they only have limited colors left.

Why did I come in here?

I had been looking for a good no hassle protective style for the Winter and this is it.

However, I am trying to order one and every thing I want is back-ordered.

ETA:: I called the # and was connected to Especially Yours and they had the Lucy yaki-texture HH available. It may be a little long for me but I can always have it trimmed down. I'm so excited.

I'd love to hear updates before I buy this. The Jackie Simi wig got trashed on blackhairmedia. :nono: I still want to buy it. Off to check the return policy. . .

I just got my Lucy today. I should have ordered a darker shade because it does not quite match my hair but I can fix that.

I got the catalog today too in the pkg.

The Jackie is synthetic hair so maybe that one does not look as good or believable as the HH weaves. I'm very particular and I thought the piece I got looked great other than the color problem which is my fault.

It's also a little longer than I want but I was gonna have it professionally cut to suit me anyway.

The synthetic ones are much cheaper than the HH ones. I'm waiting for the next one I ordered and when I get that one I will either decide to keep them both or choose btwn the 2.

I'll try to post a pic when I get it hooked up properly.

Hi:

I've been away from the site for over a year, but, my avatar is me wearing a 12" Dee. I've had it for over a year and it is still going strong. A lot of people believe it is my hair. They don't believe me when I tell them it is a wig.

I'm still thrilled with my purchase. I now have 3 of them. I have the Kalu, Dee left part and Dee center part. I got a great deal on the Dee center part. It was the 14" version (regular $89) but was on clearance due to the color. The color was a blend of an almost red and black. I paid $39 with free shipping, spent $4 on a box of color and then trimmed it to the length I wanted. That's the one I wear the most.

By the time I got around to wearing it, they were sold out of the clearance colors. Now, I wish I'd ordered 2 at that price!

Note - all of the ones I have are the human hair versions. I can't comment on the synthetic ones.
