I cannot get over the number of ladies that the coconut oil is not working for. I just bought 54 oz jar because I love it. You can always use it on your skin or to cook with if it doesn't work on your hair.

Mine are:
Unrefined Shea Butter - I hate how my hair feels and looks after using it. The strange thing is I love SheaMoisture Shea Butter Leave-In and it's main ingredient is shea butter.:ohwell: But to use it along I can't do.
ORS replenishing pak - I tried this in the beginning of my journey and didn't like it too much but then I found my true love to get my light protein fix -- AO GPB!
VO5 & Suave Conditioners- I was so hurt about this because I thought I'd found my co-wash conditioners. I wanted to love them so much because my dumb butt went out and purchased the entire store (well I didn't purchase all of them but it was a good amount). I ended up giving them all away.
Nexxus - that was a :nono: for me too.

Joico K-Pak I'm sorry to say. I used the Reconstructor and Intense Hydrator. It did nothing for my hair.

Roux Porosity Control-- my hair hasn't been the same since the one time I used it. First came moisture overload and then came crazy severe breakage (which the Joico K-Pak did not help much).

-shea butter doesn't work for me either. my skin loves it though, mix and match it my favorite scented oils.
-coconut oil doesn't do nothing for me other than cost me money! but jojoba, i looooovvve.
-the chi silk infusion was just blah for me will keep searching for a better product.
-also tried the ORS pak and was like - what's the big deal? it ain't allll that. but,I'll use it when i'm looking for a decent product without a decadent price!

brooklyngal73

SteelyDan/DonaldFagenFan!
Emu oil--the two times I tried to use it, I had a bump on the back of my neck. As soon as I stopped using it, the bump disappeared. :perplexed

ors replenishing pak is crap for me
lustrasilk is crap for me
Cantu everything is crap for me
Being supernatural and DCing with Oliveoil and honey and stuff like that is crap for me
All gel is crap for me whether its Aloe Vera or Ecostyler

Henna so far is not impressing me, but I've only done it once with Reshma brand so I want to experiment a few more times before I decide to stop or not. (where are you ladies finding karishma in philly or ny?)

shea butter at first actually did not work for me. It was very hard to apply and made my hair hard and not moisturized. But I ordered a tonload so I just kind of...forced my hair to like it. I whipped it with some coconut oil and rubbed it between my hands until transparent and then smooth on. And now my hair loves it! I'm glad I gave it a chance:grin:

Those are probably the only two (for now).

I just read on an indian site:

If you have Dry hair, Henna is not for you....It will be drier.....

:(

I figured that was probably right.... Indians have a straigter texture - less coily - hence - less dry.

Shoot.

Henna is gone forever from my head.

I second that!!!!
pm me yall!! Lol! :look:

ORS Replenishing Pak...worked for a while but hair always felt somewhat coated and I had a lot of build up after a while. Then my hair just became immune to it.

V05 Conditioners...I'm so pissed about this one because I saw them on sale at Rite Aid for $0.69 :woot: and I planned on co washing with them. Well after I co washed my hair felt just like it did before not a bit of moisture or softness in there :wallbash:. This happened to me two years ago when I used Suave and I thought I just must be crazy because LHCF alwaysss raved about it.Now I see that I'm not alone :yep: I'm still mad though because I bought three bottels and have no use for them!!:lachen:I even tried mixing them with oils and other conditioners and still not luck..:wallbash::rolleyes:

Shave your legs with them. Or add baking soda to them and use them to clean your hair instead of using a drying shampoo. Or you can put them on your feet at night with some socks and they'll be soft in the morning.
