I know you are HOT !:wallbash: I would be too. Why can't you send it back.

How hard/easy was it to assemble? Do you think you have it assembled correctly and/or were their any missing pieces !

I hope that I can get a refund.

I have the same steamer as you. If the base is not level then it will not work. It does make that loud noise when the water is low, if you bump it, or if it is not level. Play with it for a little while and it should work. Good luck.

ETA: It takes a minute or two to heat up. Does the blue light on the inside come on when you turn it on?

Actually :creatures:creatures:creatures:dance7::dance7:

I tried the 'plain tap water' idea - and it worked!!!

I am thrilled!

Thanks everyone for all the tips. I told DH you ladies would give me the answers I needed...

So:

Keep it level

keep the water level full

Use Tap Water

:yep::yep:

No I did not.
I only figured out is was working after I was done with my hair. I did not have time to fool around with it until the next morning.
I guess I will use it next week............

Well what do you know!

I purchased the steamer from JTE and it stopped working after 2 uses. I believe the heating element blew out.

I called customer service to get instructions to send it back.

Now my tabletop one is still working so far.

I'm steaming mad!
