Long hair mesh rollerset

I have been blessed with hair rather easy to manage ..... as long as I accept the rollers ritual. With the kind of rollers I use, I do not need any end paper and I do not use any specific products, just condotionner too help to detangle the hair. from time to time, I will use a setting lotion if I want to get a better hold, but this is not very often the case...
These are for the good points

As for the bad, you will see that my hair care requires many rollers - a nice setting indeed- and to get an optimum result it really requires heat. My mother started to put me under the dryer at maximum heat when I was very young - sha was rather harsh to me - but I shall admit that the heat of the dryer has never damaged my hair and has always made the set nice and longlasting. But to stay under the hot dryer with all these rollers remains a challenge even after a 15 years training. As many of you, I readily hate the dryer, but I have to cope with it....

Wow! Those are the largest mesh rollers I've ever seen. The rollerset came out fabulous! Loved how full and bouncy it looks.

There are several questions, so I hope I will not forget to answer. Do not hesitate to remind me if this is the case

The rollers surface is rather even and I definitively do not need endpaper and never saw anybody using with this type of rollers
The size I use is the biggest, 2 inches in diameter, they are also very long, so you can easily roll several times your hair spreading it all along, which at some extemt speed up the drying
The pins are long. You will put each pin perpendicular to the roller in the area where you have the maximum width of hair. When you start with the 1st roller of a row, you will enter it in diagonal in such a way the pin will go out of the opposite part of the roller towards the surface of your head with a slight angle. You have to do it carefully if you do not want to be hurt. the slight angle will apply a kind of pressure which maintain the roller. As soon as you come with the 2nd roller of the row, you just have to entyer the end of the pin in the previous roller and this is very easy. In practice only the few firts rollers create some difficulties for having the pins put without hurting you but also maintaining the roller in place. Do not hesitate to put several pins in one roler if it helps to maintain them. I will try to find a detail pictue showing better the pins linking the rollers and if possible the first roller of a row.
The dryer is a professional one. The brand is italian namely Artem. it has only one fan speed. You can select the temperature from cool to 70 degrees Celsius (appr 160 degree Farenheit) which is very hot (I was never able to sustain that temperature more than 15 mn, but I am able to sustain the next one which is 65 degrees). It is a very wide hood with an opening visor.

As for the rollerset, I can do it alone if required as long as my hair is midback, however this is difficult and some rollers will not be properly tensionned, partcularly at the back. So in practice I need help, I have a neighbour friend which does it willingly, it takes her less than 30 minutes. My husband has also become expert in doing the rolling if I do it during the weekend. I also continue to go from time to time in the salon of my mother.....
Obviously it will be even longer and difficult if I grow again the hair at waist as I intend. The problem in that case is not only to roll more times each roller, but also to find space where to put the additional rollers in order not to put too much hair on each rollers. Today I already need many rollers but in such case it is even worst.

I think I saw that's you're in France but who makes these rollers (or where did you buy them)? I have mesh rollers but they don't look like yours.

I use mesh rollers and I actually prefer them over the magnetic ones.

I've never tried mesh rollers in my life. I may have to buy some at Sally's and see how they work with my hair.

you can find these rollers in any beauty store and even in the Grands Magasins (such as Galeries Lafayette) in Paris . The well known brand is Camaflex, but you can find exactly the same at a lower price in ethnic beauty stores or in professional supplier stores (where anyone can access without being a professional). I can supply some address if you wish.

With all that hair, I SEE why you had to be introduced to the dryer early. Your rollerset turned out really pretty.
