JBCO Pomade

Has anyone used this pomade before? I ordered that and the regular oil from sams and it arrived today. On the jar it says it is good for the scalp also. I mixed some of the oil in with my BT and I am gonna use the rest on my hair. Does anyone have any reviews on this product? I did a search and came back with nothing.

I have it and I have used it a few times. I've been so caught up in the smell (not good) that I couldn't even begin to tell you how it may have benefitted my hair. The smell really bothers me and it lingers. I've heard with the oil the smell does not linger.

My order for the Jamaican Black Castor Oil arrived a few days ago. Do you ladies keep the JBCO in the refrigerator or cabinet?

Yeah it does smell kinda weird. Hopefully it will work better than it smells.

I would think it can be kept in the cabinet just like regular castor oil. I'm not sure though. Hopefully someone who knows can answer better.

What smell? What does it smell like?

I have the JBCO and it smells kinda smokey. Not bad, just smokey.

I would not describe it as a smokey smell. I have a cold right now otherwise I would smell it and try to describe it because to me it is difficult to place.

Yeah my smells kinda funny too, but I add a few drops of peppermint oil to mask the smell.
