OMG NUH UNH! I love KCCC and it works very well on my type 4 hair. Knot today was also a good leave in. It's been so long since I tried the Knot Today because it is NEVER at Whole Foods. They are ALWAYS sold out. Good products! I am not a fan of the poo. It kinda strips my hair and I thought it was a clarifying poo. For me it is, no baking soda needed.

Reading the reviews on the Knot Today has me itching to try it again. Good thing I am in braids.

I think with KCCC on type 4 hair you have to train your hair. The first few times I used it, it was BLAH, but after a few applications was when I started to see bomb defintion.

I've seen 4a's get great results. I tried it when I first went natural... that was when I learned I was a 4b :p

Tried it again now that my hair is a bit longer. The look was.. interesting. My bro kept calling me "Soul Glo".

Knot Today is one of my staples though.

lhcf has made many ppl $$$$---you have a mass audience here who you have the insider point of view on what they want and what price points they are willing to spend their money

if you know a good chemist, an entrepreneur, great marketing and have some money you can get a product line going

aint mad at anyone for putting a spin on launching their own business

LHCF is churning out quite a few successful entrepreneurs, Candy C and Macherieamour being two more. Candy C's product line is doing very well (called Cherie hair products, or something like that) and as we all know macherie seems to be doing very well with her social networking site healthy textures.

P.S. Her and her hair are absolutely gorgeous :yep:.

Wow. She's got gorgeous hair!
I don't see the products working for me, but since she's a former LHCFer, I'll try to purchase something from her line.

Wow I remember her! I had no idea that Kinky Curly was her brand. I love it on my curly weave. Just a tiny dab of the curly custard makes "my" hair dry in lush curls and waves. Wow - she's doing big things! Congrats!

That KCCC stuff's great. I use her custard/poo/leave in for my casual days. I use the MJ's curly pudding for the "gotta wear a suit days", which thankfully are not too often since I'm not crazy about Miss Jessie's ingredients.

I remember Valleygirl. She actually met Jada Pinkett Smith put her hands up all in her hair and came back and told us all about it on here, cause there was this whole is it/isn't hers war going on this forum for the longest about her hair. She was a sweetheart!

Beautiful woman, beautiful hair.

I probably won't be getting the product though because everytime she speaks about thick coarse hair they flash to her and I wouldn't describe her hair as thick or coarse.

I love KCCC it's a staple for me. I love the ingredients and the fact that it lasts and lasts!! I would try the knot today, but I'm turned off by the DMDM and hydantonin.

I love supporting minority business women!!!!

I agree. I wasn't thinking her hair was too thick. I don't think alot of people's hair is thick though. I notice alot of people have fine hair actually. We can't see if her hair is coarse cause we'd need to see a strand of her hair. Isn't it possible to have coarse thin hair? I wouldn't say her hair is thin but def not uber thick either.

I didn't think her hair was thick, either. There are a lot of people with fine, but very dense hair (I'm one), so I would imagine there could be thin haired, coarse strand individuals as well.

I love KCCC! The ingredients are great and it works similarly to Eco Styler gel for me but gives my hair this great smoothness, soft feel, and shine that are priceless. I can live without the Knot Today, I love the smell but it isn't as moisturizing as my beloved Taliah Waajid Bodifier! It works great under KCCC.

Off to read Valleygirl's posts...

I love the Knot Today and KCCC. It took a minute to start liking the KCCC but after the 3rd try I found a way to make it work for me.
