A few days ago my girlfriend sent me a text in a tizzy. She was having some personal issues & after being natural for 3 years, she was considering relaxing & wanted the number to my regular stylist .
Well, since I'm transitioning for the 2nd time & have been all up in the BKT thread, I encouraged her not to do something so permanent. I had not too long ago watched DSD's YouTube videos & in the past she & I have had conversations about the BKT. So I told her to reach out to her. My girlfriend is not a member on here so she called her for a consultation.
Tonight she called me & I'll tell you. I've never met DSD in person. Never talked to her on the phone. Only PMed her on here. My girlfriend was raving over her & she's really picky about her hair & never really 100% satisfied with any stylist. The special thing to me was that it wasn't just about the hair. It was about the mentoring that DSD offered. Without putting my girlfriend's BI on front street, the issues she was having - hair & personal - HANDLED!
From what I was told not only is DSD a great stylist but a great person overall.
So big ups to DSD. I'm glad that you gave my girl a great experience. And big ups to the ladies in the BKT support thread. It was your information that I passed on to her that encouraged her to make that call.

Her natural hair. Ladies, I know she is a 4, but not sure is she's 4a or 4b. I know she claims 4b. Oh & DSD used Marcia Teixeira.
Half flat ironed/Half blow-dried - BTW DSD did a color job on her as well.
