I just let it slowly revert and keep it oiled. Even when I get sweaty, the roots don't fully revert.

My current regimen is:
-mud wash & dc every 4 weeks
-air dry in braids
-flat iron with crisco
-rollerset every night for three weeks
I now use a mix of JBCO, sweet almond, neem, brahmi and amla oil. An oil-only regimen is working well for my hair.
I'm still using the Lavender mud wash after three months. I love it and switch between using that and a shampoo bar weekly.

meesch, Indigo doesn't really work without henna. You can either mix henna and indigo together and apply or apply henna, rinse, then apply indigo....
Amla will give hair a darker hue over time. Henna does loosen my curls smidge.
