Advised to cut my thinning Dreads.

Help. I've got shoulder-length dreads that are dry and thinning.I have stop going to the salons here cos everytime I come back looking like a wet chicken and I constantly told to cut them off and start again. Does anyone know how to stop dreads from thinning out and breaking????

I dont have any advise for you, im sure some of the natural ladies will be able to help you. When you say dreads, im assuming your hair is in natural locks, im i right?

I would use the same technique that the natural ladies on this board use to moisturize their hair. A lot of ladies use s-curl moisturizer, do condition only washes, use essential oils, and some may even use the baggie method. I would try one or some of these methods to see what works for you.
