Hello Ladies! I am interested in trying Amla oil. I done some research that said it will help to prevent premature graying. I need all that help I can get in that area.:perplexed I have been using rinses. If amla oil will handle my gray, I would rather use it.

So my questions are.....

Does Amla oil darken your hair????

What brand of Amla oil are you using???

Where do you purchase your Amla oil from???

Thanks for all of your help!!!:)

WillyGWifey and Dlewis thanks for all of your help. I have made the decision that I am going to purchase some Amla Oil. I will have to purchase it on line because there isn't any indian stores in my area:mad: .

DLewis I really appreciate all of the links. I tried doing a search but I didn't get many of the threads that you posted. I see that you are really serious about Amla oil.

I saw some Dabur Amla Oil in an Indian Grocery off Chamblee-Tucker Rd. and Shallowford Rd. in ATL, but didn't buy it b/c the smell almost knocked me on the floor

I then proceeded to order from FNWL--the "unscented" kind.

When I first started using it the smell would make me sick, now it doesn't bother me. And DH and son said it didn't smell bad.

Maybe they like stinky women.:perplexed

What is the difference between regular amla oil and the Dabur Amla lite?

The amla lite is not heavy like the reg. The smell is not bad either. I use the amla oil as a prepoo and use the lite almost daily when I reollerset.

Thanks! I have a small bottle of the amla lite and really like it, but I wanted to make sure that it works as well as the regular. My hair likes it so far!
