@ Blacktresses... the URL you need to use is the one you get when you right-click the picture and go to Properties. In your case it is
http://images8.fotki.com/v123/free/4a477/2/205906/750140/BB1-vi.jpg
and the actual string that will allow your picture to display is
[image] http://images8.fotki.com/v123/free/4a477/2/205906/750140/BB1-vi.jpg [/image] but without the spaces before and after the URL. (I left the spaces so that you'd see the string, otherwise the picture would've been displayed instead and you wouldn't see how I did it.)
If your account is the free one, I don't think your picture will stay up for long. But anyway, that's the way to get the URL of a picture in order to display it. The string that you were using ending in .html was giving the page and not just the picture. If the picture is saved somewhere else online and the site doesn't forbid linking, go right-click it there and get the URL and use it directly. That way it won't disappear as it would when using a URL from free Fotki. HTH

Can someone help me out too? I cannot change my avatar. I keep getting this message:
We cannot proceed.
It does not appear that this was submitted from the proper form.
Other people have avatars that are bigger than 80X80 pixels so why can't mine? My current one was chosen a while ago and I haven't been able to change it since certain changes were made to the board.
