The best thing I did was try to give my hair a trim and it turned into a full on BC. I had no idea I would do the BC anytime soon but it has definitely helped me prepare for a new year of being 100% natural. :)

Moving to sulfate free shampoo... my hair loves it

Keeping a weave regime up... this has really allowed me to retain length..

staying natural... it has helped with scalp issues for me

Deciding to transition. I forgot how thick my hair used to be. It takes so long to flat iron. I'm in love with my hair!

sticking to my decision to transition
stopping buying every hair product in creation
sticking to my decision to lay off of braids

hopefully for 2010 I will be able to add:

sticking to staying away from direct heat
finding a healthful style that will not have me looking like a hobo and promote growth
gtting further in my transition ( less relaxed ends)
finding a reggie I can stick to with products that are economical

Baby my sides by putting extra moisturizer and conditioner and relaxing them as often. They broke off badly and are growing back nicely now.

Buying a shampoo hose. It helped to rinse out the relaxer properly.
