Big chop?

I'm curious...Was your "big chop" short, medium or long in terms of hair length?

I knew this lady who had beautiful sisterlocks to her hips and she cut hair hair like Jada Pinkett's in "Low down dirty Shame" to donate them to locks of love. That was a lot of hair. When I got the hair cut that removed the remainder of my permed ends I got 4-5 inches cut off the ends for my blunt style. How much length came off in your final haircut(the cuts and trims leading up to the final cut don't count) that left you with all natural hair?

First time in 05 it was a BIG chop. from mbl to about 3 inches of hair. (donated to wigs 4 kids)

My BC last June was just a few inches off the ends after a long transition.

I transitioned for 29 months, snipping along the way; no big chop. My final cut was maybe 2". I am now MBL (stretched) natural.

i think i had about 10-12 inches of hair. it was long
but i didn't really care because i hadn't seen in out
in such a long time (had a sew-in for about 5 months)
that it felt like it wasnt even mine when i finally did
see it, all i cared about was seeing my new growth.
after seeing all the beautiful naturals on this website
i looked at my long relaxed hair like it was the spawn
of Satan lol, i literally HAD to be cut off or id go insane

i already had my hair cut in a bob, the front was almost shoulder length but the back was neck length...i cut about 3-5 inches off before i got kinky twist extensions, and then when i took those out i cut the remaning 1-3 inches off.
