Buns

I went to the BSS to try and get one of those fake buns but none of them were big enough to fit my hair in and the combs looked like they would have ripped my hair anyway. Ive seen discussions on sock buns? How would I do one of those. Any other threads or pics of how to do it in my hair? How do you make your bun look bigger? My forehead is too big for a small bun. TIA

I dont use a sock, however I use a half wig, remove both of the combs, and cut it up the middle, I then, pull my hair back and secure, then use hairpins to secure the half wig, by tucking it under and secureing, it is very comfortable and you can make it as big as you want, or remove additional hair and make it smaller, I am wearing in the photo in my avatar, HTH

I use a dark brown synthetic hair scrunchie, donut thingy to make my bun a little thicker. (I don't know what it's called.)

Thanks!!! I will try to find her tutorial. I do use the scrunchie buns I got mine at family dollar. LOL
