I liked Jai. And the CR Moisture Butter. I haven't tried Oyin's Pudding tho'.

My plans are to also try MHC Type 4.

Every BF I always pick up a Jar of MHC Buttery Soy, but this year interested in trying Type 4.

Ironically, it's the next in line for experimentation. I'm going to a series of comparisons between all three hair cremes...in the name of science, ya understand. After I've consistently sampled it for a period of time, I will feel more comfortable when I offer an unsolicited opinion.:lol:

I got a good thing going over here; don't you go ruining it with common sense and logic.:lol:
@PJaye what was your experience with the Type 3?

@PJaye what was your experience with the Type 3?

@caliscurls

My experiences with the Type 3 HC are as follows:

- As a sealant on top of a leave-in on freshly washed hair: Hair became extremely dull; provided very little moisture or softness
- As a leave-in on freshly washed hair: Smoothed decently and offered some shine; but became hard and stiff hair once my hair had fully dried
- As a refresher on dampened hair: Gave absolutely no shine or softness, but did provide some moisture during application; resulted in a dry-looking, dull, un-moisturized mess once fully dry
- As a refresher on dry hair: Same as the above
- As a pre-poo on dampened hair (to get rid of it): Applied and rinsed well; hair felt somewhat soft after rinsing, but the feeling didn't last; failed to mitigate the effects of the cleansing and detangling process, which is what I require of my pre-poos

Unlike her sister hair cremes, the Type 3 has a wet, creamy, light, highly whipped consistency. In fact, I found it to be too light and unsubstantial to offer any of the things I desire in a finishing product - softness, shine and long-lasting moisture. The butters contained within it doesn't seem to make an impact at all. As a result, this is not a product I would repurchase. I hope that this was helpful and answered any questions you may have had.

I like everything but the Black Seed Creme. The black seed oil scent was way too strong so I ended up giving it away.
When I remember not to be heavy handed with the others, they go on smoothly and seal really nicely. If I get too heavy with them they make my hair hard and greasy.

@rileypak
Thank you for your review.:kiss:

I thought I would really like the Black Seed/Pomegranate.:(

Yeah...she does say, "use sparingly" on just about every product.

So, I need to keep that in mind.

I'm wondering about the Olive & Bhringraj Pink Sugar? I have x2 Jars of these.

I got the Sweet Potatoe Pie Crème in the mail yesterday (16oz) and put some in a small 2oz Jar.

I think I am going to like the Henna Raspberry? We'll see.

It gets great reviews, I do love the way it smells.

I'm counting on her Buttas' getting me through Winter.
