Electric hair

Between the negative temperatures, super high pressure system, extreme dryness, plastic hair tools and rubber soled shoes, my hair is an ionic beast.

What can I do to stop the static electricity from taking over my hair? Luckily I haven't shocked myself combing my hair. But I can hear the Denman brush snap, crackling and popping with electricity every time I pull it through.

(OT, there really aren't any emoticons of a smiley being electrocuted? SMH

Use an oil or a heavy leave in cream to weigh down your strands. Does this happen with straight or curly hair? Im asking because my straight hair gets crazy static lol

This is on stretched natural hair. I've sealed my hair with some oils, but the static just gets worse as the days go by in between washing. Surprisingly it hasn't made my hair frizzy, but all of the strands cling together.
