Re: Fia\'s Hairtyping System

What am I if I have fine, normal and coarse hair?

I definately do. Some of my hairs are very very, fine just like it's described... hard to even see. Some hairs are normal and some are really coarse. I would say that most are coarse, but a good percentage are not.

So I guess I'm:

4a/3c/F/N/C/iii texturized

I'm confused about this. Help?

Hi Porche!

I say put all three. That's the problem that I'm having, because all of my hair isn't fine just the back and the sides are, but my crown area isn't.

For now at least, because the texture of my hair changes every couple of months section by section. My sides and back used to look more like my crown. I guess being relaxed for so long did this. Now, my crown is slowley changing.

I know that it' normal change, because I look at my pre-relaxed pics.

Based on the descriptions, here's my hair type:

1st: 3c/4a... I have tight corkscrews and tightly coiled S-curls
2nd: F - Fine
3rd: ii - normal now that I'm transitioning...when I was relaxed my hair was thin
4th: Medium thickness
5th: Transitioning
