Frequency of Deep Conditioning when Baggie-ing.

Hey guys,

I just started baggie-ing my hair two weeks ago and I wanted to know how often do you ladies that baggie deep condition w/ heat?

Before I baggied, I did it every week. Now that it seems that my ends are always soft and moist from the baggie method, do I still need to continue the weekly hour deep treatments?

I deep condition every week for 20 mins. I did this even when I was doing the baggie method daily.

Glad you asked this question. I'm in the same boat as you, and would like to know as well...I'm doing full head baggie nightly and I feel like I'm doing a deep con nightly...Maybe we should be doing protein treatments weekly instead?

I never use heat, for deep treatments or for anything else. But I do plan to do a deep treatment w/o heat monthly while on the baggie challenge. I just have to decide which one! I'm curious about Burt's Bees Avocado Hair Butter, even though I have seen mixed reviews on it. Btw, how are you doing? Are you baggied up?
