Question having to log in after almost every click

i log in. click on a forum. click on a thread, read it, then if i want to read a diff thread, or post a reply, i have to log in again.
if i log in and open different threads in diff tabs, i have to log in all over again. even if i keep only one tab open, and click back and forth, i keep getting logged out and having to sign in again and again if i want to do anything.
is it just me?

When you log in, make sure you click the "Remember Me" box.
