I know I have become a big ol oil addict. I've stopped buying so many conditioners, and now I'm into oils. I know I'm not the only OA (oil addict), but I'm not going to call anyone out.....you know who you are :lachen:.
:lachen:This is my first poll, so tell me how many oils do you have?

olive
coconut
shea

recently bought

castor
jojoba

the shea and coconut oils are the only one i use straight, usually after spritzing with water. i mix olive oil in my my DC, and i bought the castor and jojoba to try the kimmaytube recipe.

usually the first application or two is nice. after a few days, oil seems heavy and i have to cowash and start again. strangely, when i use a butter, it seems to take longer to have the buildup issue.

still learning....

I voted 16+.....Here's my list

Olive Oil
Avocado Oil
Jojoba Oil
Tamanu Oil
Grapeseed Oil
Castor Oil (regular)
Jamaican Black Castor Oil
Ayurvedic Oil
Camellia Oil
Argan Oil
Neem Oil
Sunflower Oil
Red Palm Oil
Wheat Germ Oil
Vitamin E Oil
and Babassu Oil……. and these are just my carrier oils, my EOs and butters would push my list into the 30s:grin:. My staples are (Hair) Castor Oil, Coconut, Avocado, and Olive Oil and (Skin) Tamanu, Grapeseed, and Jojoba Oil……. vitamin e oil and wheat germ oils I use in all my oil/butter mixture so I guess you could call them a staple product......Sesame seed oil is also a staple I use it for oil infusion…….so I guess I am an oil addict:lol::yep:

I didn't even know there were 16 kinds of oils  For my hair, I have coconut and castor. There's olive oil in the kitchen that I might use occasionally.

I've got it narrowed down to 5 now. During the winter months it's Neem, Carrot, and Wheat Germ for dandruff, breakage and dry scalp, mostly as a pre-poo. For the rest of the year it's Coconut, Wheat Germ and Avocado.

Quite a few coz I make things n soaps, etc., but who's counting?? :) My double purpose oils - i.e. kitchen and beauty are the main ones - olive, coconut, grapeseed, safflower, sunflower, hemp - I think that's it. Oh and as per my grandmother, no household is complete without vitamin E and a tub of cocoa butter.

When I joined this board, I was buying all kinds of oils. Now, I think I have 1 or 2. For me, they all work about the same. The all just feel like oil. LOL. When I realized this, my obsession went away.

I thought I had a lot of oils but now I see the truth, LoL.

4 oils is nothing here.

Castor Oil (regular)
Jojoba Oil
Olive Oil (ev)
Tea Tree Oil (which I bought for an itchy scalp and rarely use since seeing a dermatologist)

On most days I use the kimmaytube leave-in after I cowash, so I rarely use my EVOO, which was a daily staple a few months ago.
