From the options, I chose hair that grows two inches a month please:yep:. As nonchalant as I can be about length sometimes, I'm still chasing long healthy hair. Detangling isn't a problem. I don't mind shrinkage. And I could always colour my hair if I wanted to.

This is easy for me - 2" a month. My hair detangles quickly and easily and has very little shrinkage; and I'm not interested in color.

I picked 2 inches a month because I would reach my desired length faster. Hopefully, that will make my hair heavier thus reducing my severe shrinkage. If my hair shrank anymore it would be back in the follicle.:cry3:

Okay. I'm going to go with healthy hair with little shrinkage.

I believe that this would reduce tangles and mechanical damage from detangling, and also the length of my wash and go's would be APL, which I'd love.

Well-constructed survey, ma'am. I really had to think.

It is fun, I picked two inches per month. I love everything about my hair so I'd keep it the way it is. Ah, two inches per month.... I'd trade my pinky toe for that.

My choice isn't up there --- I'd go for thicker/denser hair.

Less shrinkage. I would love to be able to just use mousse and get great definition. Two inches a month would become tiresome after a while. Once I had reached the lenght that fit me best I’d have to stay up in the salon trying to maintain it LOL

    Me too :cry3:

    2. Coils with perfect definition

    3. Less shrinkage i.e. S-shaped rather than such tightly packed coils

I've been natural since 2005...and I can say without a doubt, easy detangling hair would be my greatest wish! I can deal with everything else but if I could detangle quickly..I would be in heaven.

Me too...I would love to do wash n gos but it is a world of hurt if I do. I do it every once in a while then regret it lol

I LOVE wash n gos but my shrinkage takes if from WL to SL. I don't mind the shrinkage though, just the tangles :)

I chose easy detangling. It would be the best investment since I can still grow my hair long the slow way (though it sucks to have to, lol). It would take a few more years to do so, but once I hit my goal length the quick detangling aspect would benefit me for the rest of my life. I don't need the extra fast inches after I reach my goal length, so there's that. Plus, two inches a month would mean no long term protective styles without looking like a bum in only two weeks. But even knowing this I still almost chose that option. :lachen: im still tempted by the color one (I dream of being blonde and looking sun kissed) but I'll just have to keep fantasizing about it.

I chose hair that tangles easily bc that's my main issue but I changed my vote to the first one and I really don't know why.

Same, but out of the options....

My hair is fine and doesn't detangle easy at all. It makes my heart hurt. I know I'd be waist length by now if I didn't keep getting these SSKs.

    I would go with detangling.

I’m ok with my growth. If my detangling is good, I’ll clip less :look: also, I’d fear that faster growth means faster fall.

Less shrinkage. Bra strap length hair (which I don't have anymore) was still shoulder/collarbone length as a W&G.

2 inches per month and I'd be at my pre-bc length this year!

Detangling my hair is a breeze already thanks to my updated regimen and I don't mind the shrinkage but I gotta be honest. I can't wait to feel my hair brushing against my waist again!

I'll just reread the living vicariously through long haired ladies thread" and visualize until then. ☺

I was stuck between 2 inches a month and easy detangling. I picked detangling because I already reached my goal length. Easy detangling would be lovely. 2 inches a month would be too much to deal with. I don't mind my shrinkage and I don't want to color my hair.

    I chose easy detangling.
I'd love 2 inches a month, but if my hair has less breakage, it will grow regardless and I'll eventually reach my goals, but difficult detangling is forever.
If my hair was easier to detangle, it would help with breakage. So I'd get the length and the ease.

Now that I think about it, less shrinkage might mean easier detangling by default so that choice would have been a two for one. Argh :lachen:
