I remember Big Bad D products being raved about a while ago, but now the products seem to be even harder to find? Is anyone still using it, or are there better alternatives out there? Thanks.

I'm use it, and i love it.
I got mine off ebay last year but I can 't find it online anymore.
I have a friend that works in a shop who gets it from a man on the street.
It is an elusive product but it's great.

I use it sometimes not as often since I have so many products.
I have a local Bss in my area that sells the whole line.

It's so expensive, but I want to hear from more people who use it before committing...

55 dollars??? I had to check the website myself to believe it. There are plenty of great products that cost a lot less! I'm not trying to start anything... Just saying ::look:

I never paid full price for the stretch creme, only 25 bucks.
The stretch creme works great as a deep conditioner and makes your new growth soft when applied to the scalp (small amount) and blowdried to straighted your hair.
I have the shampoo, flatiron creme and Keala oil and butter wrapfoam lotion.

It's worth it for me because I use it as a leave in and I only use a dime sized amount. I've had the same jar since Feb. and it's not even halfway empty.
I do hair and it works the same on everyone I use it on. Consistant results every time is important for me too. I don't worry about it not "acting right" on my hair.
I apply it to wet hair before rollersetting or heat styling...every time I do my hair.

For one it makes your hair super shiny when used with heat.
My hair always feels strong, soft and protected.
I can rollerset my hair with just stretch and water and get great results.
Silky, soft, shiny, strong flowy hair every time.

IA: With Des! It's a whole lot of product and it only takes very little. It's very 'dense', so you're not going to be able to use globs.

I think, If you had it and used it to replace all the "other" leave-ins you are using, it would probably actually average out to be a better savings.:look:

I am a total stan of your hair:blush:, I happened to notice as I was stalking, I mean looking at your fotki that your hair is so shiny:look:.

**try to resist buying this SelfStyled, you don't need another leave in:nono:**

Yes, I find that it is heat activated (Hooded dryer or Flatiron) It doesen't work as well without it. You won't need to use another leave in with it other than your serum/heat protectant.

(Where did you get your's from? :look:)

I used it as a deep conditioner under the dryer. It has made a great difference in my dry, color-treated hair. Would it be too much to use it as a leave-in?

When I was using it, I was using it as a Leave-In. It actually 'says' you can use it for alot of things.

And Des is correct,:yep: it is Heat Activated. It also says it acts as a Reconstructor.

They also have/had a Product Called: "Smooth as Glass" or Something "Glass" that they use to swear by at one of the Shops I use to go to.:look:

*hmmm......may have to put this one back into the rotation*:look:

IMO $55 is firmly in the realm of the ridiculous for a hair product.

I totally forgot about this product, definitely have to revisit. I have a whole jar under my sink, I will use it as a few of you have suggested.

As a leave in with the use of heat (blowdrying or flatironing).

I only paid 30 bucks for 22oz, that's not bad imo! I'm planning on using it as a leave-in and a daily moisturizer, this jar should last me a long while. I can't get over how silky smooth and moisturized my hair feels after I use this stuff...I hope that it continues to impress me!
