So I just finished up my Joico K-pak DPR and it was ok and everything but there was something about the smell and texture of it that kept bothering me. So I came to the conclusion I wanna try something new and I've been eyeing aveda but for the $26 price tag I wanna know if its really worth it. I would like your thoughts or like to kno if there's something better I can get at half that price?

I think it's worth it but if I can't afford it at a certain time I'll try something else. I haven't found anything as good, but there may be products out there that are just because I've only tried a handful of deep conditioners

I did a search for "Aveda Damage Remedy" in the title of the thread and got 39 results:

Acutally, there is a thread that has this same title, asking if Aveda DR treatment is really worth it:

^^^Thanks for the response, when i tried the search it kept giving me threads that i already seen i never came across the two you posted. Thanks again .

I've only tried it once, but wasn't totally sold on it. I can't really say what it was other than I expected this kind of "wow" factor. My hair did feel stronger so I really need to give it a couple more times before I can really rate it. After all it was only a sample size. However, I absolutely loved MegaTek from the first time I used it. MT is hardcore so I don't use it often for a protein treatment, but when I do...no breakage. I use Aubrey Organics GPB on a more regular basis to keep breakage from starting.

It is totally worth it! It has totally changed my hair. I also use it as a leave in just to make it last longer. I am 4b natural and my hair was so dry and damaged from neglect and this turned my hair around. Buy it. I will never be without it.
