You’re going to love it @IDareT'sHair
This right here did right by me when I used it to prep for braids last week. It moisturises without being greasy.
African Pride Shea butter leave in conditioner. Widely available and affordable.
APB's Whipped Cleansing Conditioner (Jar)
The picture isn’t showing @RUBY
Fenugreek Tea Rinse on scalp.
I’m calling Hits on all of my new Shescentit Black Friday purchases:
Marula Mallow Miracle Melt Masque
Plum Nectar & Agave Curling Syrup
Plum Nectar & Agave Styling Custard
Elasta QP DPR-11 DEEP PENETRATING REMOISTURISING CONDITIONER
In short... Never again
Can you see it now?
Black rice water
Nzuri liquid hair skin and nails
My hair is so soft and my thin crown has a black shading of new hairs coming in.
I've added a new picture.
I heard that was pretty good @RUBY
TGIN Honey Miracle Mask
Tried it for the first time. It was just... Okay.
For the price ($15ish), its not something that I will Re-purchase.
Here's a full review if you are interested:
Shescentit Moisture Melt Hair Mayo, rinsed out like a dream. I didn’t even use any type of heat. Baby! Hair felt like butter. I can’t wait to see what steam does to this.
I used the leave in from this line as well but I won’t know if it’s good until it dries tomorrow.
I felt the same. It was just meh.
I never reported this but Curl Junkie's Smoothing Lotion is actually a hit on my hair. I have had this leave-in for at least 4 or 5 years in my stash and it felt like it never lost it's effectiveness as a great leave-in. It leaves my hair silky soft but because of the price, I probably won't repurchase. I'll just stick to SSI leave-ins (which are just as good or better) since I do get great coupons during BF sales for them.
I've been revisiting old staples :
Still love :
- Ouidad Melt Down mask - great travel mask because this works best with no cap and no heat
- Ever Ego Garlic Mask
- Megatek conditioner
SSI Plum Nectar/Agave Leave in and Styling Yogurt. It foamed on applying and was soft as it was damp but when it dried my hair isn't soft at all. It was more like a dry cast on my hair. It wont be a repurchase and will probably give to my oldest. I'll try on dry hair though and see if its an okay refresher.
PJN Sea Moss & Pomegranate Styling Foam , very light weight and did not define my dampish hair but it paired well with another product from the line.
PJN Sea Moss & Cocoa Cream Styler, moisturizing, slip, creaminess and a good hold. Winner winner chicken dinner, sheen as well. Plumpish twists.
Dusting my ends, second time I've did that in under two weeks. I think the colored ends were slightly straight, so I snipped snipped.
@Bette Davis Eyes
This is the one leave-in I did NOT buy for the last purchase I made at SSI. I am sure glad I left that one out. Thanks for your review.
Do you think it left your hair dry because it is winter and there isn't much moisture in the air? I see it has Agave in it. Isn't that a humectant as well? It might be a better product to use during the summer maybe?
I’ve used other products with agave in the winter and honey with no issue. I think because this is a light styler it’s meant to be used to style or set so there’s a certain amount of hold I don’t look for in a leave in @Aggie
Ah! okay gotcha! @Bette Davis Eyes
