I just finished washing and apply semi-perm color to my locs. I am sitting under the steamer with conditioner now for 30-45 minutes. Then I am going to start retwisting my hair and sit under the dryer for 30 minutes.

Thursday night-I made a henna mask mix & let it sit overnight..Will leave on my hair for 2hrs.



***Currently,have it on my hair with a plastic cap & bonnet over it to seal it in..I will wash it out in 2hrs.

I’m getting my hair washed and trimmed today! I’ll be watching like a hawk since my hair is finally growing back from the last haircut disaster.

***Hair is air drying in two braids that’s banded.

@IDareT'sHair It went very well..I think I put too much coconut cream in it,the mix was super thick,but moisturizing with lots of slip..My hair was really fluffy afterwards..

**I still have some left,so I froze it to use in August.

Hello. Please share your experience with palm oil. I’ve only ever heard of one other person using it. Do you use it in place of say she’s bitter? Coconut oil! Thanks.

I’ll be starting my daily drinking of fenugreek water tomorrow. I’ve heard that it does great things for skin and hair.
I may wash it but it’s only 9 days since I last washed it and placed it in plaits. I may wait until mid week to wash. I have been moisturizing and rebranding it every few days. Trying to figure out a good routine. For me, not moisturizing my hair while they are in plaits is what gets me into trouble and my hair dries out. Causing breaks and tangles.

@KenyafromCT Hi! Shea Moisture has a palm oil line & the shampoo contains the oil,it gives plenty of slip and hydration..

***I have used palm oil by itself with great results as well..I find that if you mix the oil with your leave in or Deep conditioner,you will have hair that’s extremely soft/moisturized.
