June 28 29 30 31 July 1 What Are Your Weekend Hair Plans?

Meritamen

On a happy hair journey
Made it to 4 weeks, its time to take down these twists. Did a little search and destroy and have noticed that my ends are still in good shape. Only had to cut a few knots and splits so detangling was a breeze.
I did notice that my hair felt gummy I think from the combo of moisturizer and gel that I used so I will need to find a better combo. Even still, my hair feels really moisturized.
So I'm happy with how having twists for a month turned out that I am going to do it again for July! :)

THU
- Scalp massage for 10-20 minutes (I do this daily and it's very relaxing)
- Undo twists, mist hair with water, and apply a little Shea Moisture Hair Masque to detangle
- Braid up hair for a braid out the following day
Yes, my hair is dirty but I am too tired to go through a whole wash day before bed. Too tired! Plus, I missed my hair and want to wear it down before putting it back up in twists this weekend.

FRI
- Rock a braidout :)
- Scalp treatment with Nizoral for 10 minutes
- Follow up with Camille Rose Caramel Cowash on length of hair
- Moisturize and seal with some Camille Rose product and coconut oil
- Air dry with braids to stretch hair

SAT
- Put hair in twists with Camille Rose Twisting Butter

So far today I sprayed my fenugreek rinse on my hair and scalp. It was in the fridge for a few weeks and still smells and feels really good on my hair.

I may do a protein and moisturizing treatment on the weekend so I will come back to update with what I will be using.

I was in a rush and ended up styling in a loose ponytail, on soaking wet hair. It was good enough for the party I had to go to, but I need to restyle. Tomorrow I plan on rinsing, trying out the "squish to condish" @GettingKinky mentioned, and restyling.

All I did was massage, moisturise and reset my style on Saturday night. Massaged my scalp, spritzed my hair with water, smoothed in whipped Shea butter and sealed/ set with a little gel and my silk scarf.
