grin: it really is simple though this is a regular regimen that your suppose to do to your hair every week I guess it looks longer in writing but it is simple *smile*.
Ok, so which definition of simple are y'all using? Most of this doesn't look "simple".

Simple as in just washing, condtioning and moisturizing that kind of simple and the object of this is just to help people to stick w/the regimen they already have basically trying it out for a while instead of switching every week b/c of something NEW they hear about. So basically if something works for you, you should keep doing/using it.

Thanks for the clarification ... Well ... I think my regimen counts as simple:

  • Sun - DC Organix Conditioner mixed with Avocado Oil
  • Tues - Co-Wash with some Cheapie
  • Thurs - DC w/ ORS Replenishing or Mayo
  • Clarify with baking soda 1x per month

After each wash I moisturize w/ Aubrey Organic HSR
Seal w/ Vatika Coconut oil or Avocado
Twist into a Bun and throw on a half wig !

At night I use Mizani Nighttime Intensive treatment and Vatika

I am considering it simple cause I am sticking to what I gotta do. And not jumping from this and that every week....if that makes sense LOL.

I really need to join this challenge, because I am a product junkie, currently in remission. I have been fighting my natural urges to buy lots of new products...but there are so many it gets harder to fight everyday. So this will help me. Although I have not found all of my "staple" products yet this may help me streamline things before I add something new. Below is my regime:

Shampoo-- Shikakai Soap, Anita Grant Ylang Babassu Shampoo Bar
usually 1x a week
Conditioner-- Cholesterol with honey and oil of choice added
Deep Conditioner-- Anita Grant Rhassoul, Bentonite Clay, Coconut oil and Coconut creme mixture, Henna or Indigo
Method of Drying-- Air dry, (unless I get a steamer)
Moisturize-- Vegetable glycerin and water mix and sometimes shea butter
Oil Hair-- Moe's growth oil (tweaked a bit), avacodo oil, jojoba, Indian oils
Protective Styling-- Kinky Twist, twistout, braidout, curly fro, etc.

Can I join? I'm know I'm late, I just got my computer hooked back up.

My regimen until March 31 (End of Session One of Bootcamp) is as follows:

Daily: Rinse hair, apply condish (VO5 or Suave), shower, rinse (but not completely), apply coconut oil. Put in 4 braids. Next day, take out braids, fluff up, and bun.
Repeat.

So basically cowash daily, seal with coconut oil, and bun a braidout.

Bi-weeklyish: Shampoo w/ Suave Clarifying, DC with ORS Pack.

My regimen changes with the season, but they are all simple.

Good luck everyone!

Things are going good on my end. I have noticed that doing less to my hair is actually doing more for my hair overall(if this makes any sense).
