LHCF SUMMER 2007 - WHAT ARE YOUR SUMMER HAIR GOALS?

I am making it to Shoulder Length. Its been about 6 mos and its high time i make it to my short term goal. I am a little behind schedule because of my mini chop, but i will make it there. Also, to curb breakage permanently. I had a couple of incidents with straightening my hair. In my opinion, i should be able to straighten it without it breaking off or the ends tangling. I just think i need more strenght. I have the moisture down-pat but i need more protein.

I want to finally try a henna gloss
And I want to reach waistlength in the future that's my ultimate goal but I really want to rock blunt shoulder length curly look so I might consider cutting to shoulder length I'm still deliberating.

-Drink more water. I'm shooting for a gallon a day
-Workout 4-5X a week
-I'd love to do some more rollersets but with working out so much it seems pretty pointless.
-BSL (per my bra) taking into consideration I need a trim.

Great topic! I'd love to be full armpit length in the back and shoulder length in the front and crown. My crown is almost there, but my bangs could use a little more work.

My summer goals are:

1. To retain at least 2 inches by the end of summer.
2. To keep working on my personal "Thicken Up" Challenge.

That's about it. I am finally at the point in my hair care journey where it's all about waiting and retaining now. I have my regimen ironed out and my hair is healthy. I'm just waiting on the length, at this point.

Hopefully by the end of summer I will be 2-3 inches closer to my goal!!

ETA: I might try stretching until the end of summer to see how I feel about transitioning.

mmmmm! those nilla wafers are good. Thanks for the snack!

My hair goal is to learn how to do rollersets that don't frizz or fall in humidity. I am moving from sunny dry california to Atlanta Georgia this summer. So my hair regimen is probably going to change.

I hope to reach bra-strap, by end of August. I pray that my growth product, gets me to that length FAST.

CONSISTENCY... this is the reason why I am not progressing like I should do, one minute I wanna, be natural, then I what to be texturized, now im thinking of being relaxed again... my hair has taken a beating from me, so i need to remain focused.

Continue taking vitamins

Exercise at least once a week

Eat more healthierly fruit & veg, fish & nuts, less meat, less sugars, less take outs

Continue BT'ing

I want to be full SL by August 2007

Simplifing and streamlining my regimen by focusing on:

shampooing and conditioning
deep conditioning 1-2x a week
perfecting my rollersetting technique
pre-pooing only as an alternative to deep conditioning afterwards
keeping pjism in check and sticking with what works
