Moderators, not sure if I picked the correct part of the forum to post. Sorry if I got it wrong and you have to move.
I was on a local news site and happen to click on one of the side ads. There is a Miss Born Natural Beauty Pageant happening in Columbia, SC, this Saturday, July 19th.
Their website, http://www.bnbeautypageant.com/home.html, gives an address in Northeast Columbia in the Village of Sandhill. The event website, from the local news page, http://events.wistv.com/Miss_Born_Natural_Beauty_Pageant_Natural_Hair_Wellness_Expo/301392215.html, shows the event being held at the Columbia Convention Center downtown.
Did anyone else know about this? Sounds like a fun and exciting event, but DH may already have plans for me on Saturday.
Miss Born Natural Beauty Pageant/ Natural Hair & Wellness Expo
The Miss Born Natural Beauty Pageant is a Natural Hair pageant that showcase women, teens and little miss girls natural hair styles while promoting awareness of natural hair products, techiques and Holistic wellness and beauty. This is the first annual Miss SC Born Natural Beauty Pageant.
Contestants will compete in 3 divisions, Lil Miss, Teen, and Miss Born Natural for a chance at the title. The Lil Miss and Teen competition will begin at 1pm. The Miss Born Natural competition will begin at 6pm.
