Ok ladies, this thread is to assist my fellow newbies still struggling to construct a regimen/ finding good products while avoiding the budget choking effects of trying everything on the market to find which works for "their own hair"

Please write just ONE product that worked best for you in each category, please do not write reasons et.c just the products so it's easy to compile an archive

    Categories are best :

    1. Growth aid
    2. Shampoo/Cleanser
    3. Deep Conditioner
    4. Protein treatment (hard/soft)
    5. Leave-in conditioner
    6. Sealer (butter/oil/grease)
    7. Protective style

    Thank You:amen:

    Protein treatment: Nutress protein conditioner.

Nutress is the only product I've been able to use for the past 15 years and it always does what it says it's going to do, never changes and is always available somewhere.

    1. Growth aid
    Leaving my hair alone.

    2. Shampoo/Cleanser
Elucence Acidifying - a natural, concentrated, non-stripping cleanser, chelator and clarifier all in one.

    3. Deep Conditioner
It’s hard to list just one! However, if pushed, it would have to be Bobeam’s Condish. This conditioner is absolutely sick.

    4. Protein treatment (hard/soft)
Mill Creek Biotin Conditoner because it’s cheap and highly effective.

    5. Leave-in conditioner
PBN Muru Muru or Sapote (SN UHT is a close second).

    6. Sealer (butter/oil/grease)
Nothing beats castor oil...even JBCO. :look:

    7. Protective style
Either 2 to 3 air dried Celie braids or an air dried ponytail. I can loosen, fluff, slap on a headband and go. Or, leave it as-is for “I’m in the comfort of my own home, so don’t bother me” ease.

Hey. I did this method for 7 days for a few months this spring/summer. Growth was sporadic but evident. I'm in the 12" in 12 months 2016 challenge which kicks off on 12/1, so the plan is to do it every month for a year.
