I had a virgin texlax done at the salon yesterday. Going to moisturize my hair tonight and I might wash and deep condition my hair this weekend.

    WEDNESDAY
Virgin texlax, deep condition, blow dry and press
    Flat twist

    THURSDAY
Moisturize with Camille Rose Moisture Milk
Seal with Camille Rose hair oil
    Pin curl hair

So the flat twist out and pin curls were failures. Need more practice on this texture plus something with hold.

I’m on the road this weekend. My locs feel a little hard and dry. I’m thinking about getting a hotel room and giving myself a shampoo, a much needed DC and retwist.

    It has been a while....

    Tomorrow:
Pre-poo: APB Garlic Conditioner and distilled water
    Poo: OGX Keratin Oil
    2nd Poo: SSI Tahiti Cowash
    Conditioner: OGX Keratin Oil
    DC: SSI Marumallow

My hair will be plaited under a wig for the rest of the year. I want the rest of my strands to catch up to APL. I'm definitely not making BSL this year and that's okay.

    Edit:
I used oil and APB Curl Pudding for a WNG, so I can look cute for my husband. “Pickie plaits” will go in later.

Same as last week. I think using different stuff every week can mess up your hair. I’m going to change my combos every four weeks or so to judge what is really working. Mo’s curl restoring treatment is supposed to ——> restore curls!

Gonna give it a go for a few more weeks.

You have a point! I try not to experiment too much with new products. But I do find some hidden gems, every now and then.
