NYC/Herbs/Ayurveda

Is there a place in NYC that sells herbs? I'm looking for lavender flowers (powder form but I'll take them whole if that's all I can find). I have no idea where to start.

I am also looking for the following Ayurvedic powders: Brahmi and bhringaraj/maka. I went to Patel Brothers in Jackson Heights but they didn't have them. I'll be going with my 3-year old so I'm hoping to get a specific location if anyone has these and remembers the name of the store they got it from.

Mountain Rose Herbs sells small quantities, which makes it more affordable but the shipping is a bit much. I could pick up from FNWL but they don't sell in small quantities.

I got my powders from Patel brothers in bellerose on union tpke. They have them in a locked glass case.

Thanks. I went to the Patel Brothers on Main Street and the one on 74th Street.

They have a few locations, like 4-5 I think in the NY Metro area.
Call to see if they have what you need. They can probably direct you to another vendor if they don't have it. They are pretty helpful and may order what you need if they don't have it.
