Did a water rinse and detangled today. Still losing loads of hair so I'm gonna see my doc. I actually meant to shampoo w/ Renpure Rose Water followed by a citric acid rinse but I spent so much time getting all the shed hair out I forgot. I suppose I will do that in a few days.

3rd: Heavy clarifying wash. Used Head and Shoulders. Scalp immediately calmed down after the wash. Deep conditioned with HE HH, hydrolyzed Baobab protein, and a few squirts of Qhemet Biologics burdock root Butter cream for 30 mins. Air dried, avocado oil from ears down, put up in twist for two days.

5th: Co-wash with HE HH, currently air drying. Probably gonna put my hair up in braids that’ll at least last for the rest of next week, or at least the four days I’m in class.

6th and 7th will probably just be me spritzing my hair and applying more oil to my twists. Possibly a scalp massage and scalp oiling if I remember.

Just finished today's wash.

  1. DIY Cherry Blossom green tea shampoo (i.e., I used Cherry Blossom Dr. Bronner's this time)
  2. Citric acid rinse
  3. Palmer's Cocoa Butter...yup. I don't have in any butters in my stash at the moment and oil hasn't been cutting it so I used it. Ingredients-wise it's not all that different than slapping some Dax or Blue Magic in my hair. My twists look and feel really good.

On a happy hair journey
I had to use latex gloves in order help detangle my hair from neglecting it for two weeks. Thankfully, didn't lose much hair in the process. Used a vented round brush to blow dry with, it worked but I think a vented flat brush would be better for my hair in the long run. Was able to blow dry without having a residue left on my hair but I still would like to try some products made for straightening hair to see if it helps to get better results.

SUNDAY
- Scalp treatment: Selsun Blue Moisturizing Dandruff Shampoo for 10 minutes
- Deep Condition: Shea Moisture 10 n 1 Deep Masque
- Moisturizer: Camille Rose Fresh Curls
- Blow dry with Babyliss Nano Titanium blow dryer and Olivia Garden vented round brush
- Seal: Shea butter
- Style: Flat twists pinned into flat buns for a twist out
