ok, hair.....i\'m listening
yeah...i'm finally hearing my hair out.
once again....i'm the mildly relaxed/texturized head of hair who was afraid of air-drying b/c my blow-dry and flat-iron took away some of my wet curls.
well...this weekend, I rinsed my hair and let it air-dry in flat twists.
SPECTACULAR! now, my hair isn't quite shoulder-length, so they don't look simply awesome when worn down. but what i did do this weekend was wear one of those fun and messy updos that you can do on curly hair and get away with it. i used a bunch of barrettes and clips.
now, i'm a picky lady indeed....and i was satisfied.
at night, i just flat-twist my hair and tie it up with a scarf. i don't see myself getting too tired of it. i mean, i can use some temporary dye when i want an edgier effect. i can also just switch up my clips and barrettes.
i also got one of those teeny-weeny curling irons to define some areas when i want to wear my hair down.

i'm so happy that i can do daily washes/rinses when i want to. this hairstyle should last until my hair grows long enough for a bun. that should definitely be by next summer...hopefully by spring.
