@Prisangela I haven't yet but I've been toying with the idea
I was just thinking about doing this. Will start saving the skins.
Did another treatment last weekend. Hair stays moisturized! I will add some garlic skins for funsies the next batch
I haven’t washed or moisturized my hair since I’ve done the treatment and the moisture is just now wearing off. So it lasted almost two weeks.
YASSS! Isn't it great?! I need to make some more this weekend and I've been saving garlic skins as well
So awesome! Im so happy! Have you tried it on your scalp?
When I used it, I poured on my scalp and hair.
I got my family saving me all our onion and garlic skins.
waste not want not!
My collection of onion and garlic skins are steadily increasing.
Going to make a fresh batch tomorrow
How many skins are you all using to make 1 Rinse?
Getting ready to heat soak my skins
I make mine strong like a tonic so about a handful to a 1/3 cup water. But as a rinse it doesn't need to be that strong, about a handful to a cup of water should do.
Steeping my skins for this week's batch
I will start steeping mine tonight. I will also add burdock, nettle, and fenugreek.
I used all the skin from one medium sized onion and used enough hot water to cover them.
My brew turned out nicely.
Now, I need to figure out how to work it into my Regi
My new burdock infused batch will be waiting me in the morning.
sprayed my scalp with my mixture and am using my scalp massager.
Used my Onion Rinse as a Final Rinse (left it in and proceeded with my L-I's)
Will use it again next wash day
Anyone tried the garlic skins yet?
I have some saved in a jar for later. I want to try them separate from the onion skins so I can see what they do on their own.
I tried a few mixed in with the onion this week. Haven't noticed any difference tbh.
Will make a 2nd batch this wash day!
@IDareT'sHair Yes! onion skins are awesome
Washed my hair and spritzed with my onion skins herbal tea.
