Question about SalonsRUs hair dryer-- what is that little middle knob for?

There's three knobs on the hood-- the first is the timer, the third is the temp control and the middle...well, I'm not sure. It has a little fan symbol above it, and on the dial it displays 1, 2, 3, 0, 1, 2, 3, 0. What is that for? Is that the air flow or something? Sorry if this is a stupid question!

It's not a stupid question, I didn't know the answer until I called the company after receiving my dryer. It controls the direction of airflow from clockwise to counter-clockwise.

I noticed that the wall mount has 3 three knobs where one allows you to choose the direction of airflow. Does the hairdryer on casters (wheels) have this feature, too?
