I have been using 2 new products with super results. Both are under $5.00. I put them each on my hair before I do my nightly roller set.

First, African Pride Braid Sheen Spray. I do not wear braid, my hair is relaxed, but I was seeking a wet moisturizer/leave in to apply to my hair before I apply oil.

The African Pride ingredients
Water Aqua , Apocynum Cannabinum Root Extract , Urtica Dioica Extract Nettle , Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract Rosemary , Arctium Lappa Root Extract , Betula Alba Extract , Rosa Canina Fruit Extract , Chondrus Crispus Extract Carrageenan , Tussilago Farfara Flower Extract Coltsfoot , Prunus Serotina Bark Extract Wild Cherry , Taraxacum Officinale Extract Dandelion , Sambucus Nigra , Equisetum Hiemale Extract , Echinacea Purpurea Extract , Propylene Glycol , Glycerin , Polysorbate 20 , Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil Tea Tree , PEG-12 Dimethicone , PEG-8 , Oleth-20 , PEG-75 Lanolin , Silk Amino Acids , Panthenol , Acetamidopropyl Trimonium Chloride , Mentha Piperita Oil Peppermint , Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice , Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract Matricaria , Diazolidinyl Urea , Methylparaben , Propylparaben

Second, the antillean coconut oil I found at Rite Aid. It is in a glass jar and is just pure coconut oil, nothing else.

I saw the Better Braids, but I like the ingredients in the African Pride more. Plus, my hair is fine textured, so that factors in too.

African pride braid spray is good stuff. I have a sensitive scalp and have had no problems with this product. It is light, drys quickly and leaves the hair shiny with little build up.
