Hit: Using a shower mirror.

I purchased an $18-dollar shower mirror from Bed, Bath, and Beyond yesterday and used it this morning. I looooove it. I felt so encouraged looking at my wet hair and watching the effect of products on my strands. My wet hair is so pretty! I am inspired to grow this pretty natural hair out and get closer to capturing its wet look.

Hit: Being sufficiently stocked to enjoy three months of not buying

Continued hit: Camille Rose Naturals Curl Maker

Hits!

Nairobi Foaming Lotion - I loved this stuff when I was relaxed. I am using it on my natural hair for roller sets and getting great results.

Roller Setting - I am retaining more length with weekly roller sets.

Adore Semi Permanent Hair Color - Excellent grey coverage. The color deposits beautifully and doesn't fade. I have been able to successfully cover red hair and go back to jet black with this product. I have used at least 5 colors in this line and I have been pleased with every one. Added bonus - It leaves a really nice sheen on my hair

Continued Hit: SM JBCO leave-in takes my hair to another level. My hair was so thoroughly moisturized it felt cool to the touch and on my scalp!:infatuated:

New Hit: Chopstick buns! Breaks up the monotony of wearing traditional buns as a protective style. Got lots of compliments on my jeweled chopsticks and my buns this week!

Nuance by Salma Hayek conditioners

This is actually from earlier this year/late last month but both of the conditioners I used from this line (one deep and one rinse out) were really good. And they're reasonably priced/on sale often so that's a plus. They make my hair stronger and manageable but with just the right softness

Eva NYC Conditioners

I used the deep conditioner last year and just used the rinse out and they both make my hair feel moisturized and nice to the touch. Not too soft but just enough to run my fingers through.

Not a Hit or Miss:
SM Peace Rose Oil Gel Cream
My son hair is so soft but the jury still out on mine. I used it this morning because I needed to cowash. I used by itself on soaking wet hair. It's like, some areas are hard and some are soft. It has good consistency, but no frizz control. The smell has a subwoofer it's ridiculous. I didn't have a ton of time, so I just slapped it in my hair, causing me to use a lot.

I don't hate it, but I have no reason to like it either. My friend who gave it to me, her curls were popping when she gave it to me and she had just used it the night before. My son hair it gawjus. Me? I'm just degular. I'll update later when I've had more coffee and I rebuke Satan.

-Using the DIY super growth oil in this video by Curly Proverbz to massage my scalp, seal and do overnight oil treatments. I've been using it for 2 weeks and I feel like my hair has already grown 1/2 an inch. I'll be hip length in no time if my hair keeps growing like this.

ETA: I did not add the vitamin C powder or rosemary oil to the mixture...I used lavender oil instead.

Beneath the YouTube video she listed the ingredients and amounts:

"Over the years I have tried and tested so many oils and ingredients with reasonable success in growing my hair faster than its usual rate. I used gro aut oil with great success and attained 2 inches if growth in 8 weeks. I made up my own version with additional ingredients and I thought I would share it with you. If you are looking for fast hair growth, whether your natural or relaxed this is the video for you. This is also suitable for men... so dont be shy give it a go or share it with the man in your life.

As always be sure to do a patch test before use and do not add any ingredients that you are allergic to. IF PREGNANT PLEASE KEEP IT SIMPLE USE COCONUT OIL OLIVE OIL AND HENNA. Essential oils are best to be avoided as is msm particularly in the first trimester.

Recipe

3/4 cups of Coconut oil http://amzn.to/1W3cCSE
3/4 cups of Extra virgin love oil http://amzn.to/1OYStxG
1 tsp - 2 tsp msm http://amzn.to/1OYSCBc
1/2 tsp Vitamin C please note I no longer add this to my oil. It's fine when I apply it to my scalp or for an hour to my hair but I recently did and over night DC and added this oil and I am convinced this ingredient left my hair very dry! http://amzn.to/1W3eXNp. I do however take it orally as it has awesome hair growth benefits
Table spoon henna http://akuawood.co.uk/
1/2 cup fenugreek seeds Indian shop
5 tablespoons of castor oil http://amzn.to/1OYTB4r
5-10 Drops of Tea tree http://amzn.to/1OYTntX
Rosemary http://amzn.to/1W3g0Nw
Peppermint http://amzn.to/1W3fMWD

Please use vit c with caution if you have coloured hair."

I love her videos and I am subscribed to her channel because I wanted the 4 detanglers recipe video she has using slippery elm and marshmallow root leaves/powder. Then I found that I like a lot of her videos after that one :yep:.

Naturelle Grow Hibiscus & Honey Leave-in Conditioner on my wet or dry hair. It feels really good on my hair and now I can let Bekura Honey latte go and stick with this. I hear the NG Plantain Leave in is awesome too but I haven't used it yet but I will be reporting as soon as I do :yep:.

Major Hit: Annabelle's Perfect Blends Hair Lotion
Please @Miss Kane don't ever stop making this or the moisturizing conditioners and leave the formula to the lotion the same. This is my first HG leave in and I've been searching for 5 years.

I used to LOVE Nairobi setting foam as a relaxed head.

Yoooooo!!!!! Preach. She better not eva! The only thing reformulated I love now is the soufflé. Everything you mentioned, while the MC's I use quick and the UMS I can squeeze 3-4 uses, this stuff just works. I need 16oz. That's the only shortcoming.
