I was curious about several products, but could not find alot of reviews to compare. So I purchased a few things and used them over the last couple of months. Here are my reviews.
BTW,I have Natural,3c,medium textured hair.

Product Reviews scale: 1 = Poo , 5 = Good, 10 = Silky Soft Goodness

New Clairol Nice and Easy color #120 $2.99
purchased @ supermarket

The first thing I noticed is the smell. It is totally not offensive. I left it on according to the directions. Applied the condiioner that was included. The color is even. My hair feels very smooth and moisturized. Compared to Garnier the Nice and Easy is more mild. Compared to L'oreal Open, Nice and Easy is a little more harsh.

Con: The amount provided is very small. If your hair is very thick, longer than medium legth or both, buy two.

Pantene Relaxed and Natural Intensive moisturizing conditioner
13.5 oz. $4.00

I feel this conditioner is more moisturizing then the Daily Moisture Renewal conditioner.Same old Pantene consistency and smell. Very nice detangling. Also works well as a leave in, using a pea size amount.

Garnier Fructis Fortifying Deep Conditioner
5 oz. $ 1.99
purchased @ Walmart w/ coupon

Ingredients:
Water , Cetearyl Alcohol , Behentrimonium Chloride , PEG-180 , Amodimethicone , Cetyl Esters , Pyrus Malus Fruit Extract Apple , Fragrance , Methylparaben , Hydroxyethylcellulose , Niacinamide , Pyridoxine HCI , Citric Acid , Trideceth-12 , Saccharum Officinarum Extract Sugar Cane , Chlorhexidine Dihydrochloride , Cetrimonium Chloride , Citrus Medica Limonum Peel Extract Lemon , Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract

I used this product several times using different times 3 min. to 45 min. and with and without a shower cap. Each time my hair felt soft yet stripped. No silky feeling at all (which is what I expect from a "deep" conditioner).

Pantene Pro-V Deep Fortifying Treatment
8.5 oz. $3.99
purchased @ Target w/ coupon

Pantene Pro-V Deep Moisturizing Treatment
6.8 oz. $3.84
purchased @ Target w/ coupon

Both products have the same listed Ingredients:

Water, Stearyl Alcohol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Dimethicone,Glutamic Acid,Benzyl Alcohol, Panthenol,Panthenyl Ethyl Ether,Fragrance,EDTA, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone

The Deep Fortifying Treatment claims to undo 3 months of damage.
My hair isn't damaged. So based on it's conditioning and moisturizing properties alone; I love it. My hair Feels like silk and completely tangle free. It has a good thick consistency.

The Deep moisturizing Treatment claims to make your hair up to 60 % silkier. I love silky, this prodict gives good slip. I had the same great results as the Deep Fortifying Treatment.

Con: Two Products with the same ingriedients. Different amounts and prices ?

Elasta QP Intense conditioner
8 oz. $3.75
purchased @ Beauty Supply Store

Ingredients:
Water, Cetyl alcohol, Quaternium-18, Hydrolyzed Silk Protein, Squalene, Cetrimonium Bromide, Stearyl Alcohol, Extracts of Chamomile, Nettle, Birch,Rosemary, Coltsfoot, Horsetail, Lemon Balm, Sage, Horse Chestnut, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Methylparaben, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Benzophenone-4, fragrance, FD&C yellow # 5

The smell is great, it's cheap and this conditioner does nothing for my hair. I always follow with a different conditioner to get the level of conditioning I want. This could be good for a conditioner wash.
it's much better imo than Suave Tropical Coconut.

Aubrey Organics GPB conditioner
8 oz. $8.00
purchased @ Whole Foods Market

INGREDIENTS: Deionized Water, Coconut Fatty Acid, Natural Grain Alcohol, Lactalbumin, Wheat Germ Oil, Organic Aloe Vera*, Glycogen, Horsetail Extract, Coltsfoot Extract, Amino Acid Complex (Cysteine and Methionine), Balsam Oil, Extracts of Fennel, Hops, Balm-mint, Mistletoe, Camomile and Yarrow, Allantoin (Comfrey Root Extract), White Camellia Oil, Sunflower Oil, Aubrey's Preservative (Citrus Seed Extract, Vitamins A, C and E), Rosemary Oil, Sage Oil, Carrot Oil.

Awww, This product looks pearly like my beloved Jf Lazartigue micro pearl shampoo for less than half the price. The smell is sort of fruity/musky but very nice kind of like a cologne. If you liked Aviance night musk back in the day you will love this conditioner's smell.

The consistency is thick and very moisturizing. my hair does not respond well to protein conditioners. I maybe use them once or twice a year. However, This stuff is different. I could use it once a month.
It left my hair soft, silky, and not all clumped together in spiral curls but loose and curly (like a jeri curl). I love, love, love it.
P.S. I followed up with Pantene deep moisturizing conditoner.

This is on my list for my next trip to Whole Foods. Thanks for the review.

I did a review on Jason's Sea Kelp shampoo and conditoner.
I've only used it twice, so I will give my final review in a month. So far I really like it...it's very gentle and moisturizing.

thanks 4 the reviews!!!! I have a bottle of Garnier Fructis laying around, and i'm so hesitant to use it.. it just picked it up b/c it was on sale. your review has me in no rush to do so

I like pantene conditioners anyway, so i may give those 2 a try, but first i'll have to see how much different, if it even is, from the smooth n sleek

thanks

Hey ladies,
Thanks for the positive feedback, Glad the reviews were helpful. There are still a few products I'm testing driving.
By Fall I should have reviews on keracare's dry and itchy scalp shampoo and conditioner, Elasta Qp feels like silk, Elasta Qp H-two, Lustrasilk tea tree cholesterol, and Peppermint essential oil. Whew…After this, I'm not buying another thing.

Thanks for the reviews. My hair HATES GPB. Every single solitary time I've tried it, my hair came out in clumps. Today I finally threw it in the trash. I've used it on several ocasions over the past 1 and each time with the same results. I really wanted to LOVE it too, but it's definitely not for me.

Hi Armyqt,

When I had relaxed hair my staples were nexus keraphix followed by humectress. They are very good, you should give them a try(unless you already have). This combo worked really well for me over the years. hth

I've never tried either product, but last year I overheard a conversation in the drugstore. Two women swore to a third woman that John Frieda Beach Blonde Life Preserver Oil works the same and is easier to find. They were so enthusiastic about it that I almost bought some!
IIRC, it costs around $7 at my CVS.

Thanks for the tip sassygirl; the phytoplage was $22 for 3 oz.
I found the John Frieda oil in my local rite aid 4 oz. for $6.
Now that it’s getting hot I will give it a try.
