"Stuck" Threads

I have noticed a month ago that a thread or two would show having new posts, but in reality, there weren't any. Now, it has increased to 2-4 times per day. Is there any way to get this fixed? Thanks!

When someone votes in a poll it bumps the thread, even if they haven't added a new post. It's annoying and one of the reasons I dread seeing polls.
