I am finally going to get started on this regimen. My question for you ladies... I don't want to break the bank the first day out. What should I go with first??

    1. Ovation (by itself) and begin right away.
    2. Mega Tak, Wen, and some oil to add to the MT, and WEN
    or
    3. Would you bite the bullet and just buy Ovation and WEN together and call it a day???

Wen is an all-in-one conditioner made by Chaz Dean (he's a hairstylist in Hollywood). It's used to cleanse, condition, deep condition and a leave-in. It does not lather and is very, very moisturizing.

It comes in 5 scents, Fig, Lavender, Tea Tree, Sweet Almond Mint and Aloe Cucumber.
Fig, Lavender and Tea Tree are recommended for ethnic hair, with Sweet Almond Mint being good for all hair types.

I use it, I love it. Fig is my favorite. It does smell like cherry cough medicine.

    I agree with JustKiya.

Though I use the whole Ovation line, for someone just starting out and keen on saving money, this is the way to go.

Get MT. You won't regret it.

16 oz of Wen is $28. Larger sizes are more.

You can only order online from OVC, Chaz Dean's store, Amazon.com or Wenhaircare.com (only sells the Sweet Almond Mint).

There is a great thread about Wen here.
