What is \"the baggie method\"??

I keep hearing people on this board talking about the "baggie method", and I was wondering what exactly it is? I get the feeling it involves something like trying to preserve the ends of your hair and keep them healthy, but could someone please explain exactly WHAT it entails? For example, what bag do you use? How do you keep it on your hair? And when do you use it?

I use sandwich bags, secure with a scrunchie, and do it from anywhere from a few hours to days at a time. HTH /images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Thanks! Wow...that's ingenious. Especially with that phony pony on. That way, nobody has to know that you're wearing a baggie.
