I think they are both moisturing condish:

1. even though the first one has protein (Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Hydrolyzed Elastin), they're listed at the end which probably means in small quantities and these are the more "moisturizing proteins" rather than the restructuring one's, like keratin.

2. the second one lists only 1 protein that I can see (Hydrolyzed Soy Protein) and this too is at the end is a one of the "moisturizing proteins" . . .

Since both have the insoluble silicone "dimethicone" pretty high up the list, I would probably "pass" on them both for that reason but if you don't mind the 'cones, both sound like pretty good moisturizing condish. What are their brand names?

Dang, that's tough 'cause they looks pretty 'equal' to me but if I was looking for "moisture" I'd go with the second one because only 1 protein AND has good hair oils like (jojoba, olive & grapeseed) . . . .

Both of their ingredients sounds pretty darn good too me. Delicious!

But if it were me I would choose the first one, just because of the protein that it has. It is pretty far down the list so I don't think it would be overkill. Let us know how it goes.

ETA: Now looking at it, it reads like number two would be more moisturizing and smoothing because it has more oils. Anything that has olive oil in it, generally makes my hair feel good.

Sorry to confuse you. lol.
